While at the DAC, our participants are encouraged to live, work, and enjoy life as independently as possible. Target skill areas of which we focus on teaching and providing feedback include: Appropriate social responsibility and interaction, communication skills, employment skills, problem solving strategies, medication and first aid needs, emotional support, and personal cares.

Specialized programming may also be used to assist participants in their quest for independence in the form of communication devices, physical aides, environmental adaptations and many more!
